AME Mechanical B1.1

The area of the Mechanical stream that deals with jet engines and big aircraft structures is called Category B1.1. Students interested in pursuing a mechanical route must pass the fundamental knowledge module tests administered by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, or DGCA. They must also meet the qualifications outlined in Civil Aviation Requirement-66 for specific maintenance experience. An Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence with a B1.1 grade can be obtained by students who meet these prerequisites.

AME Mechanical B1.3

Within the Mechanical Stream, the B1.3 category stream is devoted to the study and maintenance of turbine engines and helicopter (rotatory aircraft) structures. Students in the Mechanical Stream who complete the DGCA's Basic Knowledge Module Examination and meet all maintenance experience criteria listed in Civil Aviation Requirement-66 will be given a Category B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence.

AME Avionics B2

The "avionics stream" refers to the study and upkeep of the electrical, radio, and navigational systems of aircraft. An Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence in Category B2 is granted to students in the Avionics Stream who meet the criteria for maintenance experience stated in Civil Aviation Requirement-66 and pass the Basic Knowledge Module Examination given by the CEO, DGCA.

Dual Course Program

AME+ Bachelor Degree

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a license-based programme focused on aircraft and its components and covers both theoretical and practical technological expertise. Candidates who wish to enrol in this course must have passed the qualifying test and have completed their 12th-grade coursework in mathematics, chemistry, and physics from an accredited board, institution, or equivalent. After completing both courses, which will run concurrently, students will be qualified for a variety of career options and be able to apply for any kind of job that is open in the aviation engineering sector, whether it is linked to manufacturing or maintenance.
