The world has changed into a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and students need a diverse and valuable set of skills. Sha-Shib Group is offering dual programs that help students to simultaneously pursue two varied programs in different fields namely Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with  Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor in Technology (BTech), Bachelor in Business Administration or Bachelor in Science . By enrolling in a dual program students can develop a skill set in both areas, expand their knowledge on a wide range of subjects over a period of 3-4 years and give them a competitive edge in the market. This makes graduates prepared for several careers in the aviation industry or other fields. The graduates will have skills of technical expertise and an auxiliary stream which gives another optional area of study.

Pursuing a dual program may look challenging, but there are enough benefits for students

Benefits of doing Dual Program at IAE

1. Better career opportunities: Having a dual program is an added advantage for students and it is attractive to companies for hiring.
2. Advanced skill sets: Students have an opportunity to graduate in a diverse subject other than a main subject. This will help them gain a deep understanding of each subject.
3. Cost saving: The dual program looks expensive but it is a cost-saving option for students. Pursuing dual programs saves time and money than taking two programs separately. therefore reducing financial burden.
4. Personal conditioning: As students pursue a dual program, there is progress in personal growth and fulfilment in acceptance of academic challenges.

AME + BTech

Students who wish to graduate in aircraft maintenance and engineering can opt for a dual program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and BTech.

The dual of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and BTech is a four-year course and the combination of these two courses offers a unique advantage to students. The AME course provides students with technical skills and practical experience, while the BTech course provides students with knowledge of the scientific principles behind the aviation industry.

The course offers a unique combination of technical skills, practical experience, and theoretical knowledge, which is highly valued by employers in the industry.

Aspirants who want to opt for this course should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects in 12th from a recognized board or university or equivalent.

Dual programmes take place in parallel and both subjects are completed at the same time. Students can increase their professional opportunities with the dual skills they acquire.

AME + BSc

The dual of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering + BSc is a four-year course, where students receive a Bachelor of Science degree in addition to an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering licence course.

The AME course provides live experience in the maintenance and repair of aircraft. On the other hand, the BSc course provides an understanding of scientific principles.

The minimum eligibility for applying to a dual course in BSc aircraft maintenance engineering in India is passing 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.

If you take this dual program, you will have a better chance of getting a placement and can gain an advantage in both subjects. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering gives you the practical experience required by the DGCA.

AME + BBA

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) provides students with the skills needed to maintain and repair aircraft. Students learn about aircraft structures and engines, and study about working with real aircraft. BBA is a degree that provides students with business principles and they learn about marketing, finance, human resources, management, and other areas of business.

In the dual program  of BBA and aircraft maintenance engineering, students learn aircraft maintenance, repair, and safety, while also bettering skills in management, finance, and business operations.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) conducts a license examination after completion of the AME course, to become a certified AME technician.

The minimum eligibility for applying to a dual course in BBA + aircraft maintenance engineering course is passing 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.

AME + BCA

A dual program  in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) can provide students with skills that are in high demand in the aviation industry.

AME is a technical course to learn about aircraft structures, systems, engines, and avionics, and how aircraft work.

BCA gives students an understanding of the principles of computer science. They learn about computer programming, software development, networking, and other areas of computer science. This dual program of AME and BCA helps students develop the skills necessary to design and develop computer systems and software.

A dual in BCA and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering combines aircraft maintenance, repair, and safety, while also developing skills in software development, networking, and computer systems design.

The minimum eligibility for applying to a dual course in BCA aircraft maintenance engineering is passing 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects,

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with BCA makes the student a professional in aircraft maintenance by obtaining an AME licence. This course helps the candidate to be employed by prominent companies with their enhanced skills in computer application and software development
